Services is a young consulting firm that provides
business consulting services to electric cooperatives and other like utilities. Our core
competencies are in the area of utility operations and financial analysis. We specialize
in providing state-of-the-art financial advisory services that translate into significant
bottom line financial impact to our cooperative clients. Through teaming arrangements we
can bring national experts in propane, natural gas and fuel oil to any assignment. Our practice is national in scope, as shown in
the attached map. Over the last seven years we have assisted
cooperative from all regions of the country acquire properties, assess new ventures and
improve the basic operation of their core business.
Recent assignments have included:
· Acquisition of investor-owned utilities
· Acquisition of fuel oil companies
· Acquisition of a propane company with a plan to convert a portion to
natural
gas service
· Redesign of wholesale and retail rates to more accurately reflect the
realities
of the restructured wholesale market
· Formation of a back-office utility service co-op
· Evaluation of G&T stranded costs
· Evaluation of distribution co-ops readiness for retail competition.
